Moleskin is a way heavier cotton fabric that your standard pair of denim, although it’s traditionally used to make pants that do resemble the appearance of jeans, all while saving you from the scourge of cold legs that happen too frequently during the winter season.
The Shockoe Atelier x American Trench Moleskin Jeans is based on Shockoe’s standard fit denim jeans, which brings a trim and modern cut without veering into slim territory. Since it uses a heavier fabric, the fit should be a little tighter than usual, albeit still allowing you to move around freely (do note: they recommend purchasing one size up from your usual trouser size because moleskin tends to shrink half an inch after washing). Of course, the same densely-woven fabric ensures it will trap heat way better than your standard pair of jeans, all while blocking any chilly wind that blow by.
