Tashtego Dopp Kit Roll An alternative to the dopp kit, this grooming roll lets you organize your grooming supplies for easier access during short bathroom breaks.

You already use tool rolls for carrying knives, repair kits, and a whole lot of other gear. Might as well use it for your on-the-go grooming gear, too. And while you can probably repurpose any tool roll to carry your toiletries, a custom-made carry roll should work a whole lot better. That will be the Tashtego.

A dopp kit in roll form, it lets you lay out all your grooming essentials in plain view, eliminating the need to dig through a pile of tubes and bottles to find that small box of floss to remove an annoying chunk of meat lodged between your teeth. No more messy bags with toothpastes piled on top of hair gel on top of deodorant – this thing lets you organize everything in a tidy row.

The Tashtego comes with 11 total pockets of varying sizes, allowing you to accommodate everything from toothbrushes and electric razors to mouthwash and hair gel containers, including a zippered one at the end for small stuff that you don’t want falling out. It comes with a fold-down flap to cover the items when you don’t want them out in plain sight, along with a grommet in the corner so you can hang it on hooks when there’s no counter space.

Construction is cotton canvas that’s coated with a heavy layer of Martexin water-repellent wax, so you can simply hose it down for cleaning. Features include heavy-duty nylon stitching for durability, cotton twill tape on the inside lips of pockets to keep items secure, and a 7oz vegetable-tanned leather strap.

A Kickstarter campaign is currently running for Tashtego. Pledges to reserve a unit starts at $35.
