Billed as the quietest, lightest, and most powerful handheld blower in the company’s roster, it lets you quickly clean out any leaves, cuttings, and garbage littering your grounds without making a ruckus. It’s battery-powered, too, so no gas, no cords, and no exhaust to deal with, making for arguably as prized a possession as a leaf blower could get.
The STIHL BGA 100 weighs just 5.5 pounds while generating no more than 90 decibels of noise at the highest setting (boost mode) during operation. As such, you can use it for extended periods without wearing protection, since your ear won’t be inundated with extreme noise (you can even hear ambient sounds while you operate the machine). It’s powerful, too, with a maximum air speed of 140 mph and a blowing force of up to 10 Newtons, ensuring you can blow out leaves as if Superman himself was taking big breaths and puffing with the fury of a thousand Kryptonians if you want to. That maximum power is in boost mode, by the way, with three other lower speed settings available if you’re not really dealing with a considerable amount of stuff to clean. Features include compatibility with all of STIHL’s cordless power system batteries, a perfectly-balanced profile for convenient handling, and an adjustable blower tube that can be set to three different lengths.
