Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones Klipsch's newest true wireless earbuds come with ANC, gesture controls, and a whole load of smart features.

We’re big fans of Klipsch’s T5 II wireless earbuds, with its 5mm dynamic drivers and diaphragms providing one of the better-sounding true wireless options in the market. Problem is, it didn’t have active noise cancellation, which means you’re subjected to loud noise when you’re in crowded places. The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones change that.

Equipped with ANC, the new earbuds boast noise cancellation that’s on par or better than the current true wireless offerings in the market, allowing you to enjoy your playlists uninterrupted by the sound of loud engines, large crowds, and even a nearby construction. Even better, it integrates a whole lot of features that will set it apart from the current crop of products in the category.

The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones is equipped with new 5.8mm drivers that use a thinner diaphragm, which, the outfit claims, will produce improved sound quality across all the frequencies. It also integrates the digital audio performance enhancement technology, Dirac HD Sound, which optimizes the earbuds’ sound signature, creating a sound experience that exhibits improved staging, clarity, vocal crispness, and bass fidelity. Of course, you can still apply your own custom EQ settings, in case you prefer a specific kind of sound that’s different from what you can get with Dirac’s optimized settings.

The ANC, by the way, uses two microphones on each earbud to catch as much ambient noise from the front and back, allowing you to listen to music with minimal amounts of distracting sounds going through. It has a transparency mode that lets you allow external sound as needed, with a Noise Shield feature that will still block out unexpected loud noises to protect your hearing, so you’re never completely at the mercy of the world at large.

The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones comes with AI from Bragi that allowed them to integrate gesture controls into the earbuds. Want to skip a track, for instance? Simply shake your head and the device will go right into the track on the playlist. How about taking a call? Just nod your head and the call will automatically go through. Bragi’s AI will also enable smart actions like turning on Transparency Mode automatically when you’re on a call (so you can hear your own voice clearly) or turning on ANC as soon as you listen to music. According to the outfit, more AI features from Bragi will be integrated going forward.

The earbuds come with a 50mAh battery rated at five hours of operation with ANC running (seven hours without it), with another 21 hours’ worth available from the included charging case. It comes with six sizes of color-coded oval ear tips, so you can swap in the perfect size to fit your ear. Other features include a six-mic beamforming array to ensure you’re heard loud and clear, a range of up to 10 meters, a companion smartphone app, and three color options (gunmetal, silver, and copper).

The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones come out in September, priced at $349.
