Most side-by-sides are designed with off-road performance as the primary starting point. For the Maverick X3, Can-Am started from the seating position to ensure drivers feel confident and comfortable while inside their off-roading side-by-side, prioritizing the driver experience over every other element.
Designed to wrap around its occupants, the ATV’s cockpit comes with low-slung, four-way adjustable seats for a lower center of gravity, all while making drivers feel completely safe while they rip through rough terrain at high speeds. That way, drivers can put all their focus on the ride, allowing them to perform at a much higher rate.
That doesn’t mean the Can-Am Maverick X3 cuts down on the performance chops. With a triple-cylinder Rotax ACE engine putting out 154 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque, for instance, it can hit 0 to 60 in just 4.9 seconds, allowing you to rip through any terrain with plenty of power to spare. It also comes wider than regular ATVs with a 72-inch width for better stability, along with 24 inches of suspension travel and 15 inches of ground clearance to ensure it’s as close to unstoppable as you get when driving off-road.
Features include an ultralight rigid chassis made from Dual-Phase 980 steel, a Dune front bumper, fully-adjustable Fox Racing shocks front and rear, a full roof, a heavy-duty HMW skid plate, dual ventilated disc brakes, 14-inch aluminum beadlock wheels, and Maxxis Bighorn tires. For storage, it comes with a quick-attach rack rated to hold 200 pounds, an insulated cooler box, a glove box, and a center console compartment.
