Oregon-based Tanner Goods isn’t exactly the first name that pops up when it comes to boutique sneakers, but if you’re an avid sneakerhead, it will also be hard to resist admiring their quite-unexpected shoe effort. Called the Tanner Goods Court Classic, it’s a mid-height tennis shoe draped in the outfit’s signature top-shelf leather materials.

Produced in collaboration with Rancourt & Co., it combines a classic tennis silhouette with high-quality tanned leather, turning out a pair of kicks that’s equal parts casual and refined. Seriously, you can wear this thing to work with anything other than a suit and pull it off with ease, all while being relaxed enough for use at any other time around town.

The Tanner Goods Court Classic outfits the shoe in a gorgeous tonal combination of Horween Natural Essex leather upper and a Honey Strighton Vibram sole, which is put together by hand in Rancourt’s New England facility. We’re really loving the unified color, which, we think, makes the whole thing stand out and takes one of Rancourt’s staple silhouettes to a whole other level. The fact that it’s Horween leather means this thing will likely look even better over time, although the sole will likely be a problem after seeing plenty of miles (as far as we know, the Court Classic silhouette can’t be resoled).
