Was it a decade ago when you’d walk into a gym and see everyone rocking Air Prestos? Yeah, time flies. And while that’s not likely to come around again, I can definitely picture seeing a couple of folks rocking these Nike Air Presto Ultra Breathe sneakers the next time I go in for a workout.
As with the original Prestos, the new kicks bring the silhouette’s signature t-shirt-like fit by combining a fabric bootie with a caged lacing system. We’re loving the monochromatic colorways, too, which give the classic design a slightly more contemporary appeal.
The Nike Air Presto Ultra Breathe has a textile upper in a marled texture that provides some much-needed depth in aesthetics, providing a slight break from the erstwhile monochrome profile. That upper provides excellent breathability, while the cage works hand in hand with the midfoot overlays to foster a supportive fit. It comes with the silhouette’s familiar thick profile midsole, which comes complete with Air-Sole cushioning for comfort during runs and workouts.
Outsole features foam construction with rubber segments in high-wear areas for durable traction, along with flex grooves to enable natural movement. It comes in three colorway options: black, trooper green, and midnight navy.
Available now, the Nike Air Presto Ultra Breathe is priced at $130.
