We’ve heard AV enthusiasts who swear by OLED displays and their ability to deliver the best-looking pictures. While we’re not 100 percent sold on the merits of organic LEDs over other displays, it doesn’t mean we’re not fawning over LG’s 77-Inch G6 Signature OLED TV.

What makes OLED special? Mainly, it’s the use of self-lighting pixels that can be individually controlled, allowing it to achieve both the highest contrasts and the deepest blacks imaginable. If that’s not enough to sell you, OLEDs also allows TVs to be impossibly thin. In fact, this particular model uses a screen that’s mounted onto a glass sheet (a design they’re calling Picture on Glass), with the resulting frame taking up just 2.57mm of thickness.

Of course, the LG 77-Inch G6 Signature OLED TV supports 4K resolutions, allowing you to enjoy both present and future content in full ultra-HD. It also comes with LG’s Color Prime Pro tech, giving it an expanded color palette that matches how colors are mastered for modern cinema. That means, the TV can deliver the kind of colors that stay faithful to the original filmmaker’s artistic intent. It’s also HDR-capable, boasting full support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10 content, with increased contrast ratio, greater color range, and more life-like image reproduction. Features include an integrated sound bar from Harman/Kardon that’s hinged for convenient adjustment and an integrated smart platform running webOS 3.0.
