Truth be told, the upcoming F-150 Raptor is badass enough to tear through most any off-road terrain. It’s a beast of a truck. If you look at it and think, “Meh, not beastly enough,” however, maybe you’ll find the Hennessey Velociraptor 6×6 a lot more suited to your barbaric tastes.
A modified version of the F-150 Raptor, the truck gets a more aggressive styling, nastier performance, and a whopping six wheels. That’s right, the darn thing sends power to an extra pair of wheels, making for one of the absolute craziest custom builds we’ve seen in an off-roader.
The Hennessey Velociraptor 6×6 houses a 600-horsepower engine under the hood, with an optional twin-turbo upgrade that throws in upgraded turbochargers, exhaust system modifications, uprated cooling, and a retuned ECU. It gets bespoke front and rear bumpers, massive LED lights on the roof, upgrade Fox off-roading suspension, rollbar, locking rear axles, larger 20-inch wheels, and, of course, an extended truck bed to accommodate the added length of the extra axle.
Still not satisfied with all of that? Don’t worry, they offer extra options. That includes Brembo brakes both front and rear, even larger wheels and tires, brighter LEDs, unique interior touches, and armor systems, just in case you’re shopping for an apocalypse-ready ride.
