Casio Pro-Trek PRW-7000 Quite possibly the most complete Casio adventure watch we’ve seen, this analog model combines rugged construction with a plethora of outdoor functions.

I prefer my adventure watches with a digital dial, as the screen enables better visuals for the various outdoor functions. There’s no shortage of options, though, for those who prefer their wrist-mounted tools with an analog dial and Casio’s upcoming Pro-Trek PRW-7000 just might be one of the most complete we’ve seen.

Like the outfit’s recent adventure watch releases, it comes with Triple Sensor Version 3, which provides altitude measurements, barometric pressure, and direction readings while taking up little space inside the timepiece. More than those standard functions, though, it comes with a whole load of other tools at its disposal, including tide graphs, moon age, sunrise/sunset, and best fishing times, making for quite possibly the most feature-packed Pro-Trek we’ve seen to date.

The Casio Pro-Trek PRW-7000 has a high-contrast analog face, with three-dimensional time indicators and enlarged hands, along with an inset dial at the 5 o’clock position that can be used to show the tide graph, atmospheric changes, altitude changes, and bearing memory.  An LCD at the 12 o’clock position can also show the time, along with the rest of the functions, including the stopwatch, world time, fishing times, moon age, directions, and more.

Features include LEDs on both the dial and the LCD for maximum visibility at night, a large metal button and crown, abrasion-resistant sapphire crystal lens, 20 bars of water resistance, and all the rugged performance you expect from the Pro-Trek line. Of course, it’s solar powered, with a built-in battery that can store up to five months’ worth of charge.

Want one? The Casio Pro-Trek PRW-7000 will come out in July, with pricing expected at around $700.
