While it looks like a soundbar, the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 35 isn’t actually designed to sit at the bottom of your TV. Instead, it’s a high-end wireless speaker that’s both versatile and powerful, making for the ideal music-listening system for any room in the house.

Sporting a compact form factor measuring 100 x 13.1 x 12.5 cm (w x h x d), the speaker’s rock-solid aluminum cabinet comes with three options for placement. There’s an aluminum stand that lets you rest it conveniently on a table, a low-wall bracket for placing it at hip height, and a high wall bracket for situating the speakers above the door, with the latter sporting a tilting function for easy access to the speaker’s onboard controls.

That’s right, the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 35 comes with built-in touch controls that let you choose music sources, select tracks, and adjust the volume, with onboard integration of Spotify, Deezer, and TuneIn that lets you access them without having to launch the accompanying smartphone app or pull out one of your B&O remotes. Underneath the pentagonal enclosure, it packs a pair of centrally-mounted 4-inch bass drivers, along with three-quarter-inch tweeters on the edges providing even sound distribution around the room. All drivers are powered by 80-watt, class-D amplifiers, making for some serious hardware that’s uncharacteristic for its size. Features include a 256 x 64 grayscale OLED display, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and support for Apple Airplay, DLNA, and, of course, B&O’s BeoLink Multiroom technology.
