Sometimes, you do long distance runs. Other times, you run a couple miles and call it quits. Some days, you just hit the treadmill at the gym. Other days, you pay a little fee to run on the local track. If you’re buying new shoes, you need a pair that’s as neutral as can be and that puts Adidas’ Pure Boost ZG Prime squarely in the running.

A newly-unveiled silhouette from Adidas Running, this one doesn’t exactly bring any new tech to the table. Instead, it marries the best of the Three Stripes’ existing running tech, combining them in a single shoe that should perform reasonably well for the eclectic kind of running you prefer to spend your time doing.

The Adidas Pure Boost ZG Prime is a lightweight running shoe that uses a full Boost midsole to create that floating, weightless sensation during every stride, as well as a breathable Primeknit upper for a comfortable fit that expands with every movement of your feet. A stretch-web inspired EVA outsole constantly flexes and adapts to deliver a smooth ride, while molded eyestays blend in seamlessly with the upper to hug your feet like it was part of your skin. Features include a molded heel cap, lightweight cushioning, and 10mm stack height differential. It comes in three colorways: blue, black with black outsole, and black with red outsole.
