Golf shoes are far from the kind of footwear that sneakerheads go apeshit over. That’s because they’re designed for premium performance on the fairway, rather than looking killer during everyday street use. The Nike Flyknit Chukka Golf wants to change that well-entrenched, yet deeply outdated, notion.

Combining Nike’s popular Flyknit Chukka silhouette with their F1 golf shoe sole, the sneakers deliver a style that should work well out of the club house, all while providing just the right grip to keep you competitive on the course. That way, you can keep the same shoe you were wearing over 18 holes this morning post-game, whether you’re going on a date, putting in overtime at work, or hitting the clubs with friends.

With its Flyknit construction, the Nike Flyknit Chukka Golf is considerably more lightweight than shoes traditionally built for the links, with a stylish aesthetic that mirrors the rest of the outfit’s Chukka line. It comes in a mid-top profile with a sock-like fit around the ankles, ensuring tiny pebbles and debris won’t be able to make their way inside. Since Flyknit isn’t exactly wet weather material, it comes with a subtle overlay (NikeSkin) that allows the shoe to repel wetness and moisture from the grass and other intrinsic elements in the course, although it’s probably wise to change to something more rain-friendly if the weather does turn sour.

It uses a rubber outsole with raised nodes in place of spikes to provide the necessary stability and balance on the green. Features include a lightweight Phylon midsole, flex grooves for enhanced ground feel, and two colorway options.
