Laptops may have gotten slimmer and more compact over the years, but the power adapters they come with remain as large and bulky as they’ve always been. Zolt is a third-party power adapter that changes that, allowing you to charge your laptop on the road without having to carry another heavy object in your bag.
Measuring 34 x 93 mm (d x l), it’s barely bigger than a pill bottle, so you can slide it into a pocket or drop it in a bag pouch without any problems. The prongs even fold in when not in use, so you don’t have to worry about getting poked at some point if you do decide to put it somewhere on your pants.
Zolt comes with eight different power cord tips, so it can plug into, pretty much, any brand of laptop in the market. Do note, the power output tops out at 70 watts, so it’s strictly for newer computers that support lower power inputs, rather than the 85-watt standard of older machines. Apart from a charging a laptop, it can also charge two mobile devices at the same time, so you can keep your laptop running while charging a phone and a smartwatch from just a single wall outlet. Features include a scratch-resistant brushed finish, a six-foot charging cord, and a design that allows the main body to rotate up to 90 degrees, so you can move it out of the way of adjacent power outlets.
Slated for availability November 17th, Zolt is priced at $99.99.
