Like other tools in Topeak’s Ninja line, the Ninja P is designed for transporting in stealth mode. Literally. That’s because this pump is designed to hide right in the hollow section of your seat post, allowing you to look like you can’t do anything about a flat while suddenly pulling out a surprise solution no one ever saw coming. Or something like that.
Weighing just 2.2 oz, the pump should add ignorable heft to your ride, making it suitable to keep in the seat post even in races and time trials. That way, you can get easy access to an air pump any time your tires need a little stiffening up, without burdening the clean lines of your ride (or your backpack) with bulky gear.
The Topeak Ninja P comes with a Presta valve head with an integrated dust ring to keep it clean and a mounting ring for securing the pump during use. It’s compatible with most round seat posts (those with diameters of 27.2, 30.9, and 31.6 mm), so there’s a good chance it works nicely with your ride, with CNC-machined aluminum construction for the barrel and plastic for the handle. Features include 160 psi maximum capacity and included position indicators for keeping track of your seat height. It measures 8 x 0.8 inches (length x diameter).
Available now, the Topeak Ninja P is priced at $29.99.
