We’re big fans of Teton Bros’ flagship winter jacket, with its stylish cut and badass construction. After six years of gracing the winter backcountry, however, the garment is definitely due for a change. That change comes in the form of the new Teton Bros TB 2.0 Jacket.
A special edition of the Japanese outfit’s flagship jacket, it trades in the shell’s original winterized material for Polartec’s brand new Neo Shell, which has been developed in conjunction with Teton Bros. Not only does the new fabric shut out wind, water, and snow, Polartec also claims it’s the softest and most comfortable waterproof material they’ve ever released.
The Teton Bros TB 2.0 Jacket retains the same styling as the original shell, so it still looks just as nice, complete with the streamlined cut that ditches the bulkiness usually associated with cold weather outerwear. All seams are covered with specially-made 15mm tape to shut everything from water to cold air out, with a large helmet-compatible hood that sports a unique adjustment facility ensuring you can wear it with protective snow gear without any problems. Unlike the previous version of the jacket, it has a knit backing that provides breathability to keep you comfortable during cold yet humid days, along with two chest pockets, two zippered ventilation ports, one arm pocket, and a durable low-profile surface.
Available now, the Teton Bros TB 2.0 Jacket is priced at $780.
