A modified version of Iron Heart’s highly-acclaimed riding jacket, this Self Edge exclusive retains most of the same elements that made the original so good. It looks largely the same as well, albeit with a few changes that should make it more suited to everyday, non-riding wear.
The Self Edge x Iron Heart Horsehide Leather Jacket is cut from the same chrome-tanned horsehide used in the original, along with the two-way main zipper out front, zippered gussets at the cuffs, and a pair of zippered breast pockets. For this version, though, the outfit takes out the zippered gussets on the side and rear, all while throwing in a pair of zippered hand pockets for better everyday utility. They also replaced the gray cotton duck lining with heavy brushed red flannel, giving the jacket an entirely new look with the inside part turned out.
Fit is slightly slimmer than the original, giving it a style that should blend in well with your sharp-looking city attires. Features include action bi-swing pleated shoulders, two internal pockets with snap closures, and a Mandarin collar with snap-on buttons.
