Last spring, Saucony introduced the EVERUN cushioning into their franchise models to great reaction, with runners praising the greater energy sensation and elevated running experience it provides. The response was so positive, in fact, the outfit decided to build an entirely new shoe around EVERUN’s innovations. That would be the Saucony Freedom ISO.
Unlike previous silhouettes, the new runners come fitted with a full-length EVERUN midsole that delivers better energy return and more fluid cushioning than previous implementations. It pairs that with a 3mm topsole in the same material right below the sockliner, allowing the shoe to provide a smoother feeling by conforming to your foot’s shape.
Because EVERUN is slightly heavier than traditional midsole materials, the Saucony Freedom ISO’s uses an ultra-lightweight engineered mesh for the upper that provides the necessary dynamic stretch while eliminating any stitched overlays. It comes with the outfit’s ISOFIT system to lock your foot comfortably in place, with a support frame in the heel grabbing it securely without any added weight. The upper, by the way, is fused to a colorful crystal rubber outsole that delivers great traction, high durability, and plenty of flex to support you at every stride.
For now, only one colorway (blue and black) of the Saucony Freedom ISO has been introduced, although more will likely drop when it debuts December 1st. Learn more from the link below.
