Despite their utter simplicity, totes may be the ultimate utility bag. It’s just the kind of bag you pick up when you want a handy carry-all with no fuss. With the CaB-2, Prometheus Design Werx reinforces the classic tote with a rugged build, ensuring you can use it for heavy random loads without any problem.
Instead of a flimsy canvas like most totes, this one is cut in 1000D Cordura nylon, ensuring you can use it to carry everything from heavy groceries and hand tools to camping supplies and logs for the bonfire. Simply put, it’s meant to serve as the rugged carry-all tote bag you reach for, whether you’re hitting the local farmer’s market, bringing a bunch of spare parts to a friend’s garage, or carrying extra camping supplies that won’t fit in your pack.
The PDW CaB-2 has an upright rectangular profile that measures 18 x 13 x 8 inches (height x width x depth), so it can fit much larger items than traditional totes. Aside from the Cordura material, it comes reinforced with nylon edge binding, along with two sets of handles cut in mil-spec nylon webbing. That’s right, it has two sets of handles – one for carrying in hand and a longer pair for slinging over your shoulder.
Features include a 4×4 nylon Velcro loop panel for attaching patches, a tablet pocket in front, a magazine pocket in the back, a bottle pocket on the side, and a three-section pocket on the other side for small tools. It comes in four colors: black, olive, gray, and brown.
Available now, the Prometheus Design Werx CaB-2 is priced at $49.
