Olivers Passage Pants An alternative to jeans, these commuter pants can shed rain and survive scrapes, all while freeing your lower body so you can really pound the road.

A slim cut pair of jeans aren’t the best trousers to wear when you’re taking out the bike, since their constricting fit can really make it hard to push the pace when you’re trying to get better speed. Olivers offer a better alternative with the Passage Pants.

Styled to look like jeans, the pants offer the same rugged and casual look, with a slim and contemporary fit that should pair well with most casual items in your closet. Except, it’s designed to enable active movement, ensuring you can wear it during bike commutes and pound the pavement without any discomfort.

The Olivers Passage Pants is cut in a durable blend of water-repellent nylon and spandex, giving it a four-way stretch that, along with a gusseted crotch, leaves you lower body with unrestricted movement. Sewn using Cordura threads, there’s little chance this thing will rip during accidents and falls, making for a durable pair of trousers that can support your roughest activities. It comes with a classic five-pocket design just like your favorite pair of jeans, with a fifth pocket large enough to fit a smartphone, so it’s a whole lot more useful.

Features include a shaped waistband to reduce gaping while riding, a tapered leg, stainless steel Italian-made buttons and rivets, and YKK zippers. It comes in two colors: indigo and sage.

Available now, the Passage Pants are priced at $148.
