Merrell replaced Under Armour as Tough Mudder’s official apparel sponsor this year and, along with that, introduced a new shoe designed to tackle every challenge you’ll encounter in the outdoor obstacle race. That silhouette would be the Merrell All Out Crush.
A pair of trail runners that specialize in obstacle races like the Tough Mudder, it’s designed to shed mud, drain water quickly, and deliver the kind of traction necessary to maintain grip and balance in the event’s less-than-friendly terrains. Whether you’re competing in a similar race or simply looking for running shoes to conquer trails in the summer, this thing should be duly-equipped to provide the support your feet require.
The Merrel All Out Crush combines a mesh, TPU, and synthetic upper with the outfit’s M-Select outsoles, giving your feet the ventilation it needs to properly breathe while holding a stable grip even on wet and muddy terrains. It’s designed to wash easily, too, so you don’t have to worry about too much mud caking on the surface during use. Highly-protective, it can run over sharp rocks without taking damage, all while integrating a protective cap to prevent toe injuries when running into hard objects.
Features include drainage ports for shedding water, an extra pad for underfoot protection, a breathable mesh lining, an integrated EVA footbed, breathable mesh lining, and reflective details for better visibility in low light. It comes in four colorways.
Available now, pricing for the Merrel All Out Crush starts at $89.
