Matador Packable Water Bottle Not a fan of the build and designs of packable water bottles? Let Matador's version of the travel-friendly drinking vessel change your mind.

We’re big fans of Matador’s line of products, all of which puts the ability to pack into a small bundle as priority number one. It’s impressive, especially considering the varied range of accessories they make. The Matador Packable Water Bottle stays faithful to the rest of the product line, allowing you to stay hydrated on the road without burdening you with an empty bottle that you’ll have to carry the rest of the way.

Yes, it’s far from the first packable water bottle ever made. If you’re not a fan of the shoddy materials and uninspired designs you find for packable bottles out there, though, this drinking vessel should offer a much-appreciated reprieve.

The Matador Packable Water Bottle is made from thermoplastic polyurethane – a BPA-free and PVC-free material that feels a lot like soft silicone. That means, this is completely safe to drink from, allowing you to stay hydrated on the go without having to settle for flimsy drinking vessels. It’s also very flexible, allowing you to roll it, flatten it, or fold it when empty, making it easy to stash in a tight pocket somewhere, while silicone-like build gives it a sturdier and more durable feel than other packable bottles we’ve seen.

It can fit up to one liter of your beverage of choice, so you can keep a generous supply of refreshment on hand at any time. Do note, that generous capacity means it quite big, too, measuring 12 x 4 x 2.5 inches (height x width x depth) when filled up with water, Gatorade, or any other flavored drink of your choosing. Filling the bottle up, by the way, is done from the bottom, where there’s a sealed zippered opening. This gives you a much larger opening to pour into compared to the mouth of the bottle, although you will have to make sure the entire zipper is fully sealed before you turn it over. Unless, of course, leaks and spills.

The Matador Packable Water Bottle comes with a bite valve, so you can sip your drink instead of pouring it down your mouth like with traditional water bottles, as well as a full-length straw to ensure you can enjoy its contents right down to the last drop. The bite valve comes with a cap, too, so you can keep it covered when not in use, while flow control on the bite valve allows you to shut it close to prevent any leaks. Simply put, this water bottle feels way more premium with all the extra features onboard.

Don’t like the softness of packable water bottles when you grip them with your hand? Not a problem here, as it comes with an elastic Hypalon handle on the side that makes it easy to secure in your hand when taking a sip, all while doubling as a carry handle, in case you don’t have a pouch to slot the bottle in while you’re walking or commuting.
