If you spend any amount of time outdoors, there’s a good chance you carry a water bottle in tow. Whether you jog, hike, or pedal on a bike till your leg hurts, a trusty water bottle is an indispensable companion, keeping you hydrated while you sweat it out in your favorite activities. The Lunatec Aquabot puts a twist on the standard water bottle, giving it a versatile lid that can dispense water in a variety of ways.
Find yourself in the midst of a water fight, but no Super Soaker on hand? Use this bottle to spray blasts of water at distances as far as 25 feet. Humid afternoon? Use the mist setting to gently send a refreshing cloud of tiny droplets your way. Need to clean up during camping, miss the shower at home? Use the shower setting to send strong gusts of water your way. Yes, you’ll have to refill a lot, but, hey, it’s better than nothing.
The Lunatec Aquabot is a water bottle (comes in 24 and 32 ounces), with a special lid that can dispense water in one of three ways: stream, mist, or shower. It comes with a variable control flow trigger for better control over the amount of water dispensed, along with stealth and pulse modes for automatically limiting the pressure. Do note, this isn’t battery powered, so you will have to pump air into the bottle using that large button on top, which means a little extra work. Sure looks worth it, though.
It uses a standard 63mm-wide lid, which lets you use it as replacement lid for many existing water bottles. That way, if you have a favorite Camelbak or Nalgene you don’t want to part with, you can simply reinforce it with newfound water-dispensing powers.
Available now, the Lunatec Aquabot is priced starting at $20.
