LG PH30N CineBeam LED Projector Designed as much for the office as it is for the outdoors, this portable projector lets you enjoy big screen viewing anywhere you go.

The best thing about car camping is being able to bring as much creature comforts as you want in the outdoors. Want a thicker mattress than that flimsy sleeping mat you slept in last time? Not a problem. Want a decent kitchen setup, so you can cook good food while sleeping under the stars? Pack in stoves, worktops, and all the cookware you can fit in the car. Want to watch TV when it’s late at night and you can’t sleep in your tent? Sure, if you have room in the car for the big ass TV sitting in your living room. In case you don’t, maybe the LG PH30N CineBeam LED Projector can do the trick.

A portable LED projector, it lets you take the cinema experience in a compact package, allowing you to enjoy big screen viewing anywhere you go. Whether you want to bring it to camp to take a break from nature while camping or to the office for enjoying funny videos with your co-workers in the break room, this compact device, which you can easily squeeze in a backpack, will definitely do the trick.

The LG PH30N CineBeam LED Projector is a small device measuring 5.1 x 5.1 x 1.5 inches (width x depth x height) and weighing 17.6 ounces, making it extremely easy to carry even when you’re going on foot. It can beam images up to 100 inches diagonal, so you can feel like you’re watching on a big screen TV, even if it’s just being projected on the side of your RV.  It’s pretty basic for a projector, with a contrast ratio of 100,000:1, 720p resolution, and 250 lumens of brightness. While that resolution and illumination combo doesn’t make for the sharpest or brightest picture in 2020, it should leave the display enjoyable enough when watching in a dark environment, such as a meeting room with the lights dimmed or at a campsite in the middle of the night.

It has an HDMI input for hooking up a PC, a Blu-Ray player, or a game console, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity when you’re using it on the go. Miracast support allows you to mirror whatever videos you have playing on a phone or tablet, too, so you can watch that fishing knot video on YouTube without having to squint at what the person onscreen is doing.

The LG PH30N CineBeam LED Projector has a built-in 1W speaker, so the audio probably isn’t anything to get excited about, although it does have a 3.5mm slot, so you can hook up a mobile speaker to accompany your videos with much better sound. Do note, the battery only holds two hours’ worth of charge, so you’ll need a way to charge it if you’re on the road. Other features include relatively quiet operation (30db at the loudest), automatic keystone correction, a 30,000 lifespan for the LED, and a bundled remote.

The LG PH30N CineBeam LED Projector is available now, priced at $399.99.
