It’s easy for winter jackets to turn into shapeless garments, with the kind of bulk they tend to carry to keep you warm in the cold. If you’re looking for a shapelier silhouette with serious badass thermal performance, ISAORA’s IR Voyager Jacket should figure well into your regular ensembles for the season.

Yes, it’s puffy as heck, but you have to admire the shapely cut that keeps it looking finely-styled, in spite of the bulk. More importantly, though, the outerwear boasts some serious chops that should give it prime-level performance for those chilly days and nights out.

Unlike conventional down jackets, the ISAORA IR Voyager boasts a fully-welded construction with zero sewn seams, rendering it completely impenetrable to chilly breezes and water alike. It uses down that’s been given a HyperDRY nano-treatment to provide complete water-resistance, as well as a natural particle-based thermoreactive nano-coating that converts body heat into infrared energy to keep things toasty, improve blood circulation, and boost cell performance. Because of the welded seams, the down fill all stay inside their original channels, ensuring no migration to maintain an even level of warmth throughout use.

Features include a large hood to keep you sheltered from the elements, Primaloft Gold insulation on the sides to reduce bulk, laser-embedded cord management at the collar and hem, YKK water-resistant zippers, and an inner bonded storm placket. Construction is a two-layer stretch fabric, with C6 DWR treatment for high levels of water resistance.

Available in gray, navy, and olive colors, the ISAORA IR Voyager is priced at $489.
