Henry’s Hard Sodas For those evenings you need a sugar fix to go along with your nightcap, these alcoholic soda drinks should make for a more refreshing alternative.

When you need a refreshing sugar fix, you reach for a soda. When you need to relieve the stresses of the day, you reach for a beer. But what happens when you’re highly stressed and need a sugar fix? Yes, a rum and Coke will do, but so will reaching for a bottle of Henry’s Hard Soda.

That’s right, it’s a bubbly, sugary drink that should be as tasty as your favorite soda, all while getting you as intoxicated as your favorite bottle of beer. We know, you’d probably still rather swig a bottle of Bud, Coors, or that local craft brew you rave about so much, but getting drunk on fruity soda sure sounds like a fun thing to indulge in every now and then.

Made by MillerCoors, Henry’s Hard Soda comes in two flavors: Orange and Ginger Ale. The former brings the flavor of Valencia orange with just the right amount of sweetness, while the latter combines the kick of fresh ginger with herbal notes and a slight fruity undertone. Both are sweetened with real cane sugar, with a 4.2 ABV rating, so it carries about as much intoxicating booze as a regular bottle of commercial beer. It’s named after Henry Weinhard, a brewer who produced both sodas and beers out of the Pacific Northwest.

Now available throughout the US, Henry’s Hard Soda is sold in 12-ounce bottles as a six-pack and 16-ounce single cans.
