Most multi-tools are made up of basic survival and repair implements.  You know, the most common tools most people will typically use in their day-to-day lives. If your days play out more like an action movie, though, then we’re guessing a normal multi-tool won’t quite serve you well.  The EvadeClip, however, definitely will.

Made by TIHK, it’s a flip-out multi-tool designed to facilitate survival in urban environments. Basically, it combines a selection of tools that will allow you to get out of the kind of predicaments you typically find action heroes in. Whether it’s picking locks to get out of a bind, cutting through zip ties to free yourself during an abduction, or breaking a chain link to escape out of a compound, this thing will let you perform daring feats of escape like every action hero in every action movie ever made.

The EvadeClip is a small multi-tool measuring 2.5 x 0.5 x 0.25 inches (w x l x d), so it’s small enough to fit in any pocket, with a clip on top for securing to the edges of pockets, belts, and socks, allowing you to keep it in an inconspicuous place if you want to.  For the actual tools, it has a stainless steel mini-saw for cutting through rope and bindings, a carbide grit rod saw for cutting through metal objects like chains, and a three-piece lock picking set for opening handcuffs, deadbolts, and padlocks. It’s pretty single-minded, which we find pretty refreshing. Seriously, it might be the first multi-tool I’ve seen without a bottle opener in sight.
