While Danner isn’t really known for making motorcycle boots, their hiking boots have long found plenty of love from riders. Simply put, they wear just as well when riding a cruiser as they do when making your way across a backcountry trail. As such, the riding-focused Danner x Iron Resin Tramline Boots feel like they’ve been long overdue.

A four-inch tall boot, it comes in a chukka-like silhouette that gives it a distinct appearance compared to the outfit’s current range of footwear. According to Danner, it’s specifically designed to thrive in West Coast conditions during the spring and summer seasons, with technical elements that will give you full support whether you’re exploring the outdoors on two wheels or two feet.

The Danner x Iron Resin Tramline Boots combine a suede upper with a leather and textile lining, giving the shoe a classic look and an undeniably vintage feel. That same lining gives it some much-needed breathability, too, while a waxed canvas collar ensures no water gets to seep in from the top. It comes in a 650 EE fit that, according to Danner, isn’t as wide as their regular boot lasts, so it offers a more universal, albeit still roomy, fit.

Features include handcrafted stitch-down construction to ensure durability and underfoot stability, Vibram Cristy outsole for excellent cushion and traction, and a mountain-friendly lace-to-toe design. And like Danner’s other footwear, it’s designed for resoling, so you can wear it out and easily have it fixed up back to working order.
