If you’re looking for a winter jacket that delivers maximum insulation at the lowest possible weight, check out this new garment from Polish outfit Cumulus. Called the Incredilite Endurance, it guarantees warmth courtesy of a 900-fill hydrophobic down, all while tipping the scales at a lightweight 305 grams for a medium.
How can it combine that much fill power with such a low weight? Well, that comes courtesy of the Polish hydrophobic goose down, which has been cited several times as the best down in the world. So yeah, if you want maximum warmth at the lowest possible, it’s going to find something that outdoes this cold weather piece.
The Cumulus Incredilite Endurance pairs that insulation with Pertex Endurance for the shell, which boasts high resistance to moisture even after prolonged exposure, and ultra-soft Pertex Quantum for the lining. It uses V-shaped down chambers on the torso, with slightly angled ones on the arms, giving the jacket a stylish aesthetic that looks perfectly at home, whether in the mountains or down in the city. Even better, the whole jacket can pack into one of the external pockets, so you can put it away when not in use.
Features include a regulated hood large enough to fit a helmet, stitched-through construction, YKK zippers with two self-locking sliders, elastic cuffs, a high chin guard, two zippered hand warmer pockets, and a zippered vertical torso pocket. It comes in three colors: black, green, and navy.
Available now, the Cumulus Incredilite Endurance is priced at €219.
