Chrome Industries Dima 3.0 Slip-Ons No, it's not just another Vans clone, with its durable and hydrophobic upper, reinforced panels, and cycling-friendly elements.

It looks like a pair of slip-ons right out of the Vans catalog. As such, it’s the kind of shoe anyone can appreciate wearing on a relaxed day, whether you’re spending it lounging at the beach, kicking it in a coffee shop, or goofing around in a corner with friends. Except, the Chrome Industries Dima 3.0 Slip-Ons also integrates a few technical elements that make it a great pair of shoes for riding bicycles around the city.

You can think of it as a more technical pair of Vans slip-ons. It’s got that same relaxed style and that same slipper-like convenience, all while bringing performance elements that betray its casual aesthetics, making it ideal for wearing when you occasionally engage in demanding activities all throughout the day.

The Chrome Industries Dima 3.0 Slip-Ons has a 1050D Cordura upper that’s abrasion-resistant and hydrophobic, allowing it to shrug off pokes and scrapes like they’re nothing, while staying completely dry the whole time. They also put in a rubber bumper at the toe and elevated foxing, allowing it to give your feet additional protection. That’s right, these relaxed slip-ons are not just made from rugged materials, they’re reinforced with protective elements, too. Unlike your typical slip-on, it gets a reinforced nylon shank on the midsole called Rigid Powerplate, which will help maximize your power during pedaling, so you can ride that bike faster with the same amount of effort.

They also threw in a board-pasted insole that, the outfit claims, will eliminate any poking from the pedals, while a Panaracer vulcanized outsole ensures maximum traction that will eliminate those instances of having your foot slip off the pedal when you’re bicycling in a rush. Suffice to say, if you ride bicycles a good part of the day, this will wear a lot better than your standard skate brand slip-on. Lastly, it gets a contoured insole that’s designed to support your feet in a natural manner, as well as a crash pad below it for absorbing any impact at the heel.

The Chrome Industries Dima 3.0 Slip-Ons is available now, priced at $95.
