It’s not quite the robot butler you probably wanted, but the R2-D2 Mini Fridge is easily the greatest beer-serving robot within the confines of the known universe. I mean, it’s a life-sized, highly-detailed Artoo that’s also a mobile mini-fridge that can follow you anywhere in the house, ready to provide you a can of delicious brew from the refrigerated compartment in his torso.

Made by Aqua, the mini-fridge sports a near-perfect likeness to the astromech droid, so it looks just like the same cute robot with a multitude of talents from the previous six movies. Unfortunately, it can neither fix machines, interface with computers, or do any of the cool things Artoo actually does, but it can definitely chill a six-pack on its belly while it follows you around everywhere in the house.

The R2-D2 Mini Fridge can be operated using an included wireless remote, allowing you to send it to the kitchen to fill up with beer (yes, a human will need to do that part) and bring it back to your location to enjoy the aforementioned suds. It can run for about two hours at a time, so it’s not exactly convenient. If you’re willing to plug it in every couple of hours, though, you can enjoy the presence of a beer-transporting robot at your perennial beck and call.

Features include working lights that mimic the ones from the original robot, authentic sounds recorded from the movies, and a maximum speed of a little over half a mile per hour. Oh yeah, it also comes with a built-in projector, so you can totally watch a movie in the garage while drinking brewskies with a friendly robot in tow.

Available for pre-order now, the R2-D2 Mini Fridge is priced at ¥998,000 (around $8,300).
