It’s not the first analog smartwatch we’ve seen. In fact, we’ve seen quite a few of those debut over the last couple of years. The Alpina Seastrong Horological Smartwatch, however, is a full-featured diver’s watch, allowing you to wear it when spending extended time in the water.

Equipped with the AL-282 connected movement developed with MMT, the timepiece will do more than keep time like traditional dive watches, providing its wearers with activity tracking, sleep monitoring, and call and SMS notifications. You can even receive dynamic coaching regarding your physical activity and set the time, both via the accompanying app (iOS and Android). Oh yeah, it will prod you to move, too, if it detects you spending a little too much time sitting on your desk (or the beach sand, whichever the case may be).

The Alpina Seastrong Horological Smartwatch has an easy-to-read dial housed in a 44mm case, with a sapphire crystal and a unidirectional rotating bezel. Luminous hands, indexes, and markers keep it readable even underwater, while a watertight construction ensures it can handle water pressure at depths of up to 330 feet. Oh yeah, it comes with a world timer function that’s accessible via the app – simply update your current location to automatically reset the time. It comes in four colors: black, green, orange, and navy blue, each one fitted with a sporty rubber strap.

Available now, the Alpina Seastrong Horological Smartwatch is priced at CHF595.
