At $230, these Adidas by Kolor Track Pants are not the kind I’ll wear when I’m actually running or training in the gym. They make $20 track pants for that ($60, if you want to look stylish for the ladies). Instead, these are what I’ll slip into when I want to gallivant around town while looking like I belong in a hip-hop music video with expensive champagne, scantily-clad women, and so many shiny objects, I have to wear sunglasses the entire time. I suggest you do the same.
A part of the Adidas by Kolor Fall/Winter collection, the joggers combine the latest in performance sportswear technology from Adidas with the Japanese fashion label’s expertise in modern cuts and fits. It’s actually one of the more subdued pieces in the line, which, if you check out the full collection, you’ll realize looks like it was meant for astronauts with tons of sunlight-reflecting metallic foil integrated into the pieces.
By the way, don’t let the erstwhile normal looks of the Adidas by Kolor Track Pants fool you. While they appear to be made from nothing more than harmless polyester and nylon with mesh overlay, there are metallic foil accents, too – they just happen to hide under zippers in the ankle vents. Just unzip if you want a little dash of retro NASA to go with your classic urban style. Features include an elastic waistband with drawstrings, three zippered pockets, elastic-ribbed cuffs, outseam piping, and reflective branding.
The Adidas by Kolor Track Pants are available now.
