2016 KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition This limited-edition, all-black model of KTM's sports car is probably as close to a production version of the Batmobile as we'll ever see.

No, it’s not a superhero car. No matter how you slice it, though, there’s no denying the 2016 KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition is the closest thing we probably have to a production Batmobile. I mean, look at the darn thing.

The newest version of the Austrian outfit’s ultra-light sports car, this even-lighter limited-edition makes liberal use of carbon fiber, using the ultra-light material in nearly every part of the body. From the panels to the underfloor to the engine covers to everything in between, looking at this vehicle for extended periods is very likely to give you a carbon fiber overload (yes, it’s a real condition, we don’t care if you’re a doctor).

As a result, the 2016 KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition transforms the car’s appearance from a super-sporty racer to a sinister-looking superhero ride worthy of Gotham’s finest. Powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, it puts out 320 horsepower – a 35 hp bump from the standard GT. No performance numbers have been announced, but with the combined lighter weight and higher power, it should post tangible improvements in the base model’s 143 mph top speed and 4.1-second 0 to 60 time.

Features include an anodized sport exhaust, 18-inch wheels out front, 19-inch wheels in the rear, and a rear-view camera for checking all the other cars running behind you in the track. Inside, the similarly all-black cabin comes with hand-stitched seats, a suede leather steering wheel, handbrake levers, and a full multimedia interface.
