We love our Vans sneakers as much as the next guy, but it would be silly to rely on them during the rainy days of spring. Unless, of course, they come from the new Vans x Schoeller Capsule Collection, which combines the skate apparel outfit’s classic silhouettes with Schoeller’s weather-resistant materials.
Designed for wet weather, the collection uses soft shell fabrics from Schoeller’s roster that are elastic, wind-repellent, and water-resistant, with distinct bonded layers that ensure excellent functionality and comfortable all-day wear. As such, these aren’t just equipped to handle light rain, but absolutely withstand harsh city weather, ensuring you’re duly equipped whatever the transitional seasons bring.
The Vans x Schoeller Capsule Collection consists of three silhouettes, namely the Mid Skool Lite LX, the Authentic ’66 LX, and the OG Authentic LX. The Mid Skool Lite LX comes in black/white and blue/white colorways, while the the Authentic ’66 show up in sulphur, burnt olive, off-white, and crown blue. The OG Authentic, on the other hand, comes in just one colorway called Spanish villa. All three silhouettes are updated with Vans’ ActionFit last shape to give them increased comfort and reduced fit, while effecting an overall weight reduction, along with UltraCush Lite soles, which provides a softer, almost pillow-like feel on the underfoot for all-day comfort.
