Shinola Canfield Bolt Shinola's most minimalist watch yet may also be their most lust-worthy.

Sometimes, less is more. In the case of Shinola’s newest timepiece, that definitely rings true. Arguably their sparsest and most minimalist yet, the Shinola Canfield Bolt just might be their most lust-worthy creation, too.

How minimalist is it? Well, they didn’t even throw in their name on the dial, as has been customary with watchmakers for many, many years. Instead, the Detroit outfit opted to just leave their mark via their signature lightning bolt, which surprisingly does enough to give the watch face a much-needed character.

The Shinola Canfield Bolt also ditches any markings and indicators, leaving the clean, sandblasted sunray dial with just three hands and the lightning bolt. As with the rest of their watch line, it has an Argonite 713.2 quartz movement ticking inside the 43mm stainless steel case. What makes the timepiece doubly exciting, though, are the custom options, which allow you to choose among three case finishes, five dial colors, and a little over five dozen straps, totaling to well over 300 possible combinations. Surely, there must be one or two you’ll find absolutely irresistible off that many.  Features include 5ATM of water resistance, a double curve sapphire crystal, 20mm lugs, and Shinola’s signature back plate with a laser-etched serial number.

Available now, pricing for the Shinola Canfield Bolt starts at $625.
