Nike Special Field Air Force 1 A cross between Nike's Air Force 1 and Special Field Boot, this new silhouette turns the classic basketball shoe into a badass tactical sneaker.

It’s not quite a combat boot. If you ever fancied seeing the Air Force 1 draped as part of a military outfit, however, the Nike Special Field Air Force 1 is probably as close as it will ever get. And, no, you probably shouldn’t wear this in actual battle, but if you’re looking to spruce up your Airsoft wardrobe, this thing looks like an absolutely killer option.

Billed as a mix between the Air Force 1 and Nike’s Special Field Boot, the silhouette turns the classic basketball shoe into something that looks suited for a war-torn battlefield. It’s, basically, the Air Force 1 reimagined as a tactical boot, albeit with special pains taken to ensure it wears nicely with everyday urban streetwear.

The Nike Special Field Air Force 1 gets an upper cut in leather and ballistic nylon, ensuring it performs tougher than your regular AF1. It now comes with two ankle straps (one leather and one paracord), both of which can be easily removed to customize the shoe’s appearance. The shoe’s thick midsole and outsole combo has been retained, since it actually complements the military aesthetic they’re going for, with a secret pocket stashed on the tongue for carrying small items covertly. Each pair comes with a matching bag that sports paracord handles and a MOLLE webbing system.
