No, wearing Kyrie Irving’s shoes isn’t going to make your game any better. If you want to look your best while you brick shots, miss layups, and slip chasing a crossover, the Nike Kyrie 3 should go a long way to helping you with that.
Yep, one of the NBA’s most dynamic point guards is getting his third Nike signature shoe this month and, unlike some basketball kicks we’ve seen lately, it looks like a proper hardcourt model. None of that low-cut silhouette that looks more suited for a lifestyle shoe, making for the kind of kicks you’ll gladly trust to keep you safe during play.
Designed specifically for the needs of agile and explosive point guards, the Nike Kyrie 3 comes with a mid-height cut for full ankle protection, while the texturized mesh upper comes rigged with an integrated forefoot band and Dynamic Flywire underneath to deliver a flexible lockdown. Since explosive point guards require insane traction for those quick cuts and sudden crossovers, they paid plenty of attention to the outsole, which sports a curved shape and independent traction pods, along with an integrated band on the forefoot.
Features include a speckled midsole, a Nike Zoom Air unit at the heel, a reflective 3M Swoosh on the side panel, and various markings on the tongue and sockliner that relate to Irving’s life. For now, it only comes in one colorway, called Black Ice.
Available now, the Nike Kyrie 3 is priced at $120.
