We’re big fans of Arkiv’s modular system, which allows you to add tons of storage pockets to your existing bags. Apparently, Mission Workshop are fans, too, as their newest duffel, the Cadre, comes equipped to handle Arkiv’s add-on modules.
Armed with four Arkiv rails (two on each side), the bag can accommodate a selection of add-on pouches and compartments, allowing you to easily expand it with extra room according to your needs. From what we can tell, it should work with most any Arkiv-compatible modules, too, so if you already use them, you should be able to incorporate them right off the bat.
The Mission Workshop Cadre is cut in the outfit’s HT500 fabric, which boasts a lighter build while maintaining tough and abrasion-resistant characteristics, although they also offer an alternative build in 1000D polyester. It measures 20.5 x 10 inches (length x diameter), with a 26-liter capacity, making it suitable for an overnight bag or even a weekender if you’re traveling light. Two short straps make it easy to carry by hand while an adjustable strap lets you hoist it over your shoulder, both of which are cut in mil-spec webbing for durable function.
Features include two zippered exterior pockets, one zippered interior pocket, a water-resistant construction, and urethane-coated water-resistant external zippers. It comes in three colorways: black, slate, and gray.
Available now, the Mission Workshop Cadre is priced at $235.
