You know the ongoing rumor that the iPhone 7 will eliminate the headphone port entirely? We don’t actually know if that’s true. JBL’s upcoming Reflect Aware earphones, however, seem to have geared up for that eventuality, as it swaps out the trusted 3.5mm jack for an iPhone-ready Lightning connector.

Being connected to the Lightning port gives this new pair of sporty headphones access to power, allowing it to incorporate active noise cancellation without needing a battery of its own. That way, you get the benefits of powered headphones without the hassles of having to charge every night, making for a potentially attractive alternative for folks who like to enjoy their music in relative silence.

Aside from noise cancellation, the JBL Reflect Aware also comes with adaptive noise control, giving you the ability to adjust the level of environmental noise to let through, so you can stay aware of your surroundings. Since it’s designed for active use, the headphones comes with angled tips for secure wear on your ears, sweat-proof construction to eliminate any chance of water damage, and tangle-free cables, so you never have to mess with annoying knots, whether you’re working hard in the gym or chilling out at a coffee shop.

Features include 14.8mm dynamic drivers, 10 Hz-22 kHz frequency response, and reflective cables to help keep you visible when running in the streets at night. And, yes, there’s a USB-C version coming for non-iPhone users.

Slated to come out in June, the JBL Reflect Aware is priced at $199.95.
