No, there isn’t a good reason to carry a pocket watch in 2016 (that’s what we have phones for). Unless, of course, you’re trying to dress like a bloke from the 1800s (or you’re into Steampunk fashion). Why? Because unlike most pocket watches, it comes with its own stand, allowing you to use it as a desk clock when it’s not taking up room in your pocket. Which, for all intents and purposes, will probably end up being most of the time, making it a whole lot useful than other pocket watches that will probably end up gathering dust in a drawer in your bedroom.
The Itero Pocket Watch has a 44mm case constructed out of PVD-plated 316L stainless steel. It comes with a flat edge and a contemporary-looking dial, so it looks like a modern watch, despite being a less-than-common occurrence in this day and age. Features include a sapphire crystal lens, Ronda quartz movement, 3ATM of water resistance, and an accompanying PVD-plated stainless steel chain.
The stand, on the other hand, is a stylish looking wooden piece, with a slot on top for the watch case. It’s cut in solid walnut wood that’s been treated in oil to provide added longevity.
