We know, it’s probably still cold as heck wherever you are. Like every year, though, the season of snowstorms is going to pass and you’ll need something less-bulky to get you through moderately wet weather. The Ask Canvas Duffel Coat is a stylish outerwear built for those conditions.

A rainwear piece from sailing brand Helly Hansen’s spring/summer 2016 collection, it’s a “standout coat” that boasts authentic marine style and performance. And while it will probably make for a sweet piece to wear during rainy days out on the yacht, it’s stylish enough to use as an everyday coat for getting around town, as well.

The Helly Hansen Ask Canvas Duffel Coat is made from a custom-laminated three-ply canvas with fully-welded seams to keep both wind and water out. It also uses the outfit’s proprietary Helly Tech membrane that’s both waterproof and breathable, ensuring not a single drop of water goes through while keeping you sufficiently ventilated throughout the day. Billed as “a tribute to the modern racing yacht,” it uses authentic sailing elements, including Italian dyneema rope for the closure and the same anodized aluminum pin used in high-performance sailing setups.

Features include a classic duffle attached hood, Hypalon rubber details, aluminum duffle buckles, flapped handwarmers, YKK Metaluxe zipper, a zippered inner pocket, and a slit at the bottom of the hem. It sports a fit that’s designed to wear over a suit jacket.

Available now, the Helly Hansen Ask Canvas Duffel Coat is priced at $650.
