No, it’s probably not a good idea to walk around the city wearing a kimono. Unless, for some reason, you live in feudal Japan, of course. You might, however, get away with wearing this kimono-like Nightfall Noragi Jacket 02 from Guerilla Group in any place around the world.

If you remember the 01 version of this jacket, they paired the kimono’s lines with the classic MA-1 flight jacket, turning out a fusion style that brings eastern and western influences together. This time around, they stick completely to the kimono for inspiration, turning out a jacket that’s perfect for dudes who want to add a little samurai swag to their contemporary outfits.

The Guerilla Group Nightfall Noragi Jacket 02 has a shell made from a blend of wool, viscose, and Eagletex nylon, so it’s warm and tough, the way any outerwear garment should. It comes treated for water-repellence so you can wear it on a rainy day out, with a polyester lining that should be soft on the skin. Embracing the kimono aesthetic, the jacket comes with an adjustable cotton strap that you can tie around the waist or stash away when not in use.

When it comes to pockets, this one’s generously supplies, with two chest welt pockets, two body patch pockets, two arm pockets (including one that’s zippered), and an internal chest pocket. It comes with a button closure and YKK zippers.

Available now, the Guerilla Group Nightfall Noragi Jacket 02 is priced at $400.
