G. Pinto ON Turntable More than a stylish looking record player, G. Pinto's new turntable doubles as a powerful valve preamp for beefing up all your favorite music.

I’ll admit, we don’t really understand G.Pinto’s claim that the ON Turntable is the first “plug and play” record player of its kind. Whatever that means, it’s one heck of a feature-packed music machine, bringing capabilities beyond playing your latest 12-inch find.

Sporting a stylish modern aesthetic, it combines a white wooden body and a multi-layer beech veneer deck with a plinth and platter constructed from Corian, a material usually employed for countertops. With large white knobs serving as physical controls on the deck, this thing is bound to draw attention even if you place it in the busiest media cabinet.

As a record player, the G. Pinto ON comes with a carbon fiber tonearm that can switch between magnet and coil cartridges, with the belt drive mechanism allowing it to play at both 33 and 45 RPM. It also has an integrated valve preamp, with its own dedicated power supply and three power options, ensuring any sound that comes from the rig has been optimized for your listening enjoyment. Aside from servicing your vinyl listening habits, the system can hook up to both digital and analog sources, so you can use it as a preamp for the rest of your music sources.

It comes with two RCA inputs, one coaxial, two digital, and one USB, with the ability to accept high-res audio up to 24-bit/192kHz.  And, yes, it even has Bluetooth for wireless streaming, so you can easily integrate it with any existing music setup.

Slated for availability in July, pricing for the G. Pinto ON Turntable starts at €2,999.
