Casio G-Shock G-Steel Street Vintage Style Collection G-Shocks and leather straps may not sound like the perfect pairing, but Casio's new G-Steel line of watches just might change your mind.

Dressy leather straps and G-Shocks don’t exactly go hand-in-hand. At least, that’s what we thought until we saw the Casio G-Shock G-Steel Street Vintage Style Collection, three of which come fitted with fine-looking leather straps.

Called Tough Leather, the new band is made from a unique blend of synthetic leather and resin that’s designed to withstand abrasions over time. So, yeah, it might look dressy, but it’s just as tough as Casio’s watches, ensuring it will maintain its refined looks through many years of use.

The Casio G-Shock G-Steel Street Vintage Style Collection watches come with an oversized 52.4mm steel case that boasts the usual G-Shock qualities, so it can shrug off shock, absorb impact, and survive depths of up to 200 meters. It gets a stylish analog dial with three digital sub-dials, along with luminous coating and full-auto dual LED lights (one for the dial and another for the digital displays) for visibility.

It comes in four case styles: all-black with a black IP steel bracelet, all-silver with a brown strap, black/silver with a tan strap, and black/tan with a black strap.

Slated for availability starting March, the Casio G-Shock G-Steel Street Vintage Style Collection is priced starting at $300.
